Kelsey A. Ewing

Kelsey Ewing assists clients in multiple areas of intellectual property, including patent and trademark protection and procurement.

With her background in chemical engineering and a thorough understanding of material sciences, physics, thermodynamics, and chemistry, Kelsey solves issues for clients in a wide array of technologies. She handles all aspects of both utility and design patent application preparation and prosecution, including drafting provisional and non-provisional patent applications and communicating with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in furtherance of allowance.

Kelsey also uses her analytical and problem-solving skills to gain trademark allowances. She handles all levels of trademark preparation and prosecution and routinely crafts arguments to overcome confusion rejections.

While in law school, Kelsey served as an IP extern for NASA, where she participated in invention disclosure interviews, examiner interviews, and patent prosecution, including the amending of claims in mechanical and electrical fields ranging from water purification techniques to an engine that harnesses acoustic waves.

In her spare time, Kelsey enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her dog, Murphy, and cat, Jez.
