Kelly A. Baldini

Kelly Baldini focuses her practice on defending medical device and pharmaceutical companies against product liability and personal injury claims.

In addition to defending product liability cases, Kelly has experience in working on intellectual property disputes, including multiple copyright infringement cases.

While attending law school, Kelly worked as a law clerk and gained valuable experience while assisting with trial preparation and proceedings for a pro bono case. She broadened her legal experience as a summer associate for a civil litigation defense law firm.

After growing up in the St. Louis area, Kelly migrated south to attend Arizona State University. As an undergraduate, Kelly studied abroad in Barcelona and traveled to various countries. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, playing arcade basketball, group fitness classes, and playing with her golden retriever Boomer.

  • Won an appeal in the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, affirming the Western District of Missouri’s grant of summary judgment and award of attorney’s fees to the defendant in a copyright infringement lawsuit involving architectural plans
  • Obtained a complete defense verdict in a two-week jury trial as second-chair trial counsel for a major pharmaceutical company in a case before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri involving claims of copyright infringement, breach of contract, the Missouri Computer Tampering Act, and civil conspiracy
  • Obtained summary judgment and an award of attorney’s fees for a defendant in a copyright infringement lawsuit in the Western District of Missouri against architects and home builders
