Jeffery E. Carr

Cleveland, OH | D 216.696.3865 | F 216.592.5009

Jeffery Carr applies his broad business experience to his legal practice.

Before pursuing a career in law, Jeff worked for a global tire manufacturer as a procurement specialist, where he negotiated the cost of raw materials that went into the company’s tires. He also has worked for three other international manufacturers in various supply chain roles.

While in law school, Jeff spent two summers with Tucker Ellis and clerked for the American Civil Liberties Union of Ohio, where he assisted with legal research and writing in complex federal litigation matters. Jeff’s background in business and experience in litigation helps him understand clients’ goals and efficiently serve their interests.

Jeff was selected as the 2019 recipient of the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law Dean’s Learn Law. Live Justice Award, which is given annually to a graduating student who has demonstrated a commitment to making clients' lives better and our communities stronger.

Jeff and his wife reside on the east side of Cleveland and are the proud parents of an infant son, Atlas. Jeff is also learning how to play piano and dreams of one day being able to play John Legend's "Ordinary People."
