Jacqueline Relatores

Jacqueline Relatores assists clients in securing and enforcing their intellectual property rights.

Jackie assists in all aspects intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. She has experience in researching and drafting documents for trademark and patent matters before the USPTO and for intellectual property litigation, as well as in resolving domain name disputes.

While in law school, Jackie was a judicial extern to the Honorable Josephine L. Staton of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, where she gained invaluable experience in the judicial decision-making process within the federal district court system. She was also a member of the UCLA Patent Law Clinic where she acted as a pro bono student practitioner prosecuting patents on behalf of individual entrepreneurs. These experiences contribute to Jackie’s versatility in both litigating IP matters in court and prosecuting matters before the USPTO.

Having majored in structural and geotechnical engineering and minored in environmental engineering, Jackie’s broad experience contributes to her ability to tackle complicated technical matters. This vast array of technical knowledge allows Jackie to assist clients seeking patent protection and enforcement.

Before entering law school, Jackie worked as a project engineer in the construction industry where she coordinated the efforts of owners, inspectors, architects, engineers, contractors, and management teams. This experience is invaluable to her law practice, as it allowed her to hone her communication skills and effectively resolve issues among different parties and reconcile them to produce the best possible outcome for the client.

Jackie loves traveling internationally, hiking with her rescue dog Scout, relaxing at the beach, and visiting wineries and local breweries.
