Erica James applies her medical knowledge and training to defend clients in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and healthcare industries.

Trained as a physician, Erica defends physician, nurse, hospital, and dialysis center clients against claims of medical malpractice. As a member of the Tucker Ellis Medical & Pharmaceutical Liability Group, Erica is currently defending personal injury claims related to pelvic mesh.

Erica spent her childhood moving around the country and the world as a military dependent. Upon receiving her medical degree from the University of Miami, she completed a residency in family medicine in Clearwater, Florida. She relocated to Cleveland in 2007 and is the happy caretaker of two mischievous shih tzus.
