Allison Burke represents clients in complex civil litigation in the areas of insurance coverage, class action defense, and commercial disputes.

Allison defends companies in cases involving insurance coverage, commercial disputes, and product liability. She is a member of the Tucker Ellis team that defends an automobile insurance provider in putative class actions in state and federal courts across the country. She also represents a medical device manufacturer in product liability and personal injury actions.

Allison is experienced in all aspects of pretrial litigation, including preparing and responding to pleadings, conducting fact investigations, developing defense strategies, taking and defending depositions, and preparing dispositive motions.

In her active pro bono practice, Allison regularly volunteers at brief advice clinics in Cleveland and has represented pro bono clients in housing and immigration matters.

Allison lives in Cleveland Heights with her husband and spirited wheaten terrier. In her spare time she enjoys running, hiking, skiing, and all things outdoors.

  • Obtained dismissal with prejudice of product liability and negligence claims in a case involving silicone gel breast implants (M.D. Fla. 2019)
  • Obtained complete dismissal of fraud and misrepresentation claims against a medical supply group purchasing company (W.D. Ky. 2019)
  • Obtained dismissal for a medical device company on federal preemption in a case involving injuries allegedly caused by a ruptured silicone gel breast implant (W.D. Wa. 2018)
