Tucker Ellis Welcomes Raymond Krncevic as Trial Department Counsel

July 2018

Tucker Ellis LLP is pleased to welcome Raymond Krncevic as counsel in the firm’s Trial Department.

Mr. Krncevic specializes in litigation and health care, drawing upon two decades of in-house, governmental, and private practice experience. He represents health care clients in matters involving medical malpractice defense; regulatory and accreditation compliance and investigatory matters; medical staff, peer review, and physician licensure issues; and risk management and quality improvement initiatives. More broadly, Mr. Krncevic serves clients in tort and business litigation, insurance matters, and conducting internal investigations and risk assessments.

Mr. Krncevic joins Tucker Ellis after 10 years in the general counsel’s office at University Hospitals Health System (UH), most recently serving as its head of litigation. His prior law firm experience in Cleveland and Washington, D.C. focused on representing clients before courts, arbitrators, and administrative agencies. He also served for four years as Legislative Director & Counsel to a United States senator, helping to shape legislation and policy at the highest levels of government.

“Tucker Ellis trial lawyers have collaborated successfully with Ray at UH for years,” said Tucker Ellis Trial Department Chair Rita Maimbourg. “We’re all looking forward to working even more closely with him now that he’s joined us here at Tucker Ellis.”

“Working side by side with Ray over the years has shown us first-hand the kind of top-quality lawyer he is,” said Managing Partner Joe Morford. “His unique in-house litigation experience will have an important impact on our trial department and our firm as a whole – but most importantly, it will help us continue to give our clients a better experience than they can get from any other law firm,” he added.

Mr. Krncevic received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. He received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University.
