On September 21, the Tucker Ellis Equity & Inclusion Committee sponsored the Norman S. Minor Bar Association’s (NSMBA) Fourth Annual Law Student Summit, “Navigating the Muddy Waters of Law School.” Tucker Ellis has proudly sponsored all of NSMBA’s annual summits since the inaugural program in 2016.

Open to diverse Northeast Ohio law students who are traditionally underrepresented in the legal profession, the summit features panel discussions by legal professionals who share their knowledge, experiences, and wisdom on how best to navigate law school and prepare for a career in law. Among this year’s participants were Tucker Ellis Diversity Chair Sanford Watson, who spoke on a panel discussing “Mentors vs. Sponsors,” Brandon Cox, who moderated a panel on “Non-Traditional Legal Careers,” and attendees Jeffery Carr and Ludgy LaRochelle.
