Tony Vacanti Explores Strategies for Challenging Zoning Actions and Related Ethical Issues at Nationally Webcasted NBI Seminar

May 27, 2020

On May 27, Tony Vacanti discussed challenging and appealing zoning decisions, strategies for litigating property rights in zoning matters, and ethical issues in land use and zoning matters at a nationally webcasted National Business Institute (NBI) seminar. In “A Practical Guide to Zoning & Land Use Law,” Tony addressed the process of appealing and challenging a local zoning decision at the local level, in the courts by way of appeal and challenging the constitutionality of zoning actions, and federal pre-emption issues in land use and zoning. He also addressed ethical requirements for lawyers appearing before local governments on zoning matters and members sitting on local governmental boards, as well as conflict of interest issues in land use matters.
