On March 26, Tod Northman and Emmanuel Sanders presented a Lorman webinar, “Piercing the Corporate Veil Checklist – Avoid Mistakes and Exposure.”  Participants learned how to define the elements that a court will focus on in assessing the appropriateness of veil piercing; help clients best structure their organizations to avoid having the entity veil pierced; identify when reverse veil piercing may be a risk to clients; and recognize appropriate circumstances for reverse veil piercing for creditor clients.
