On November 19, Tucker Ellis obtained a unanimous defense verdict in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court for client Hillcrest Hospital. The plaintiff claimed that he developed Stevens Johnson Syndrome from an antibiotic administered in the Hillcrest Emergency Room as treatment for a suspected serious bacterial infection. Following a five-day trial, the jury deliberated overnight before returning the complete defense verdict.
