Just what is floating above our heads? Since it began in the 1960s, man's space activity has steadily increased. That increase in space activity has also meant an increase in the amount of man-made space debris left in orbit around our planet. With approximately 100 new launches per year, the amount of space objects and debris in the skies over our heads is ever growing.
