Mollie Benedict and Sandy Wunderlich were selected as faculty members for the International Association of Defense Counsel's (IADC) 46th Annual Trial Academy. The seven-day intensive defense trial advocacy training program blended small group faculty instruction and demonstration with individual student participation and realistically simulated the elements and environment surrounding a trial.

Both Mollie and Sandy contributed as members of the plaintiff faculty team. Mollie conducted a mock direct examination of the plaintiff’s neurologist during the faculty demonstrations and taught a section on use of exhibits. Sandy conducted a mock direct examination of the plaintiff’s economist during the faculty demonstrations and co-taught a section on voir dire. Both Mollie and Sandy coached groups of students by providing one-on-one guidance and constructive criticism as the students engaged in demonstrations in two mock trial scenarios.

The Trial Academy was held July 28-August 3 at Stanford Law School in Palo Alto, California.
