Missouri Governor Eric Greitens has appointed Madeline Orling Connolly as Associate Circuit Court Judge for the 22nd Judicial District, covering the city of St. Louis. Ms. Connolly will fill the vacancy created when Governor Greitens promoted Timothy Boyer to the circuit bench earlier this year.

"Madeline Connolly has a proven dedication to the City of St. Louis and extensive experience trying both criminal and civil cases in the 22nd Judicial Circuit," said Governor Greitens in an official press release. “She will be an excellent judge.”

At Tucker Ellis, Ms. Connolly has defended companies in mass tort and product liability civil litigation matters. Previously, she spent five years as an Assistant Circuit Attorney in St. Louis City, where she tried more than 40 criminal cases, including homicides, violent assaults, robberies, weapons offenses, property crimes, and drug trafficking offenses.

"Tucker Ellis will miss Madeline’s enthusiastic commitment and legal acumen," said Tucker Ellis Mass Tort & Product Liability Group Chair Laura Hong. "She will be a true asset to the bench and bar."

Ms. Connolly received her undergraduate degree from Valparaiso University and her law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law.
