Ludgy LaRochelle has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Hanna Perkins Center (HPC) for Child Development. HPC is a non-profit that partners with parents and professionals to help children understand, communicate, and manage their feelings for success in school and life by providing the following services: (a) a state-chartered kindergarten, preschool, and parent/toddler program; (b) mental health counseling and therapy specifically for children from birth through adolescence and for new mothers struggling with postpartum depression; and (c) an official training program of the American Psychoanalytic Association for early learning educators, child care workers, social workers, and others who work with children on a daily basis.
