On November 8, Ernie Auciello spoke on two topics at the National Business Institute’s (NBI) seminar, “Medical Malpractice from Start to Finish.” First, Ernie discussed electronic medical records, exploring how to obtain, authenticate, and interpret them while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Second, he shared insights into navigating the medical malpractice trial, including trial preparation, voir dire, formulating effective opening and closing statements, preparing expert witnesses, and handling direct- and cross-examination.
