Chad Eggspuehler Named Among 40 Best LGBT Lawyers Under 40 by The LGBT Bar

Tucker Ellis LLP is proud to announce that Chad Eggspuehler has been named to the 2020 list of “40 Best LGBT Lawyers Under 40” by The LGBT Bar. Each year, The LGBT Bar recognizes LGBTQ+ legal professionals under the age of 40 who have distinguished themselves in their field and have demonstrated a profound commitment to LGBTQ+ equality.

An appellate and complex litigation strategist, Mr. Eggspuehler is counsel in the Cleveland office of Tucker Ellis. His advocacy extends beyond the traditional courtroom. He volunteers as a consultant with Equality Ohio, and he has repeatedly given legislative testimony to the Ohio General Assembly in support of LGBT rights, including The Ohio Fairness Act. As a frequent public speaker and author, Mr. Eggspuehler addresses emerging LGBT issues that are being considered by the U.S. Supreme Court. His articles on these cutting-edge topics include those appearing in the Equality Ohio Blog, where he contributed an 8-part guest series on the Masterpiece Cakeshop case, and Law360.

Mr. Eggspuehler received his law degree cum laude from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. He received his undergraduate degree in government and politics summa cum laude from The University of Texas at Dallas.
