On January 11, Carter Strang, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation (CMBF) President, was a guest on ideastream's "The Sound of Ideas." Carter discussed CMBF's 2021 Richard W. Pogue Award for Excellence in Community Leadership & Engagement, to be presented to "power couple" Lee Fisher, Dean of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and Peggy Zone Fisher, President and CEO of the Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio. Carter remarked on the Fishers' unparalleled history of leadership, including their commitment to reducing the opportunity gap and promoting justice, equity, and diversity and inclusion, as well as their focus on youth and helping shape our next generation of leaders. The award will be presented on February 13 at "Rock Sweet 16," a virtual event celebrating the 16th annual Rock the Foundation.
