On May 1, Carter Strang presented "50 Years: Kent State's Living Legacy," a Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA) webinar exploring the May 4, 1970 Kent State shootings. The event marked the first time in United States history that anti-war protestors were killed on a U.S. campus. Carter was a Kent State freshman and witness to many of the events surrounding the killing of four and wounding of nine by the Ohio National Guard. His presentation included photos, audio, and the only known video of the shootings.
