Former Ashtabula City Port Authority legal counsel Carl Muller attended a recognition ceremony commemorating the delisting of the Ashtabula River as an EPA “area of concern” for environmental contamination. The environmental remediation of the river was an unprecedented partnership between the governmental agencies at the federal and state levels with a coalition of manufacturers who have or had manufacturing facilities in Ashtabula.
