On June 27, Dan Messeloff presented a Lorman seminar, “Top Payroll Mistakes and How to Correct Them.” In the session, Dan advised payroll executives from around the country of the most common payroll mistakes that result in lawsuits, as well as how to avoid and fix them, and when companies should retain an attorney to help. Dan also discussed ways for employers to communicate payroll mistakes with affected employees, to further minimize the possibility of a payroll-related lawsuit.
