Karen Ross and Brandon Cox were highlighted in the Cleveland Mock Trial Program section of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation Impact Report. The Bar Foundation is the fundraising arm of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation, raising critical dollars for public outreach programs. The Impact Report spotlights the impact that public support generates in the areas of youth and workforce development, access to justice, and the nonprofit and arts community.
"Brandon Cox and I are committed to coaching mock trial because of the students, their journey, and the pride we feel in watching them thrive," Karen said. "While winning is a goal (and an awesome feeling), we teach students that being prepared and doing one’s best are most important. We also focus on showing them how they can use the skills they gain in mock trial to become contributing members of society and take control of their futures."
