Banking and Commercial Lending

Tucker Ellis and West's Finance lawyers represent foreign and domestic banks, investment banks, insurance companies and other institutional lenders in a wide variety of financing transactions including commercial lending, asset-based lending, equipment leasing, construction lending, letters of credit, agented and syndicated lending transactions, workouts and debt restructurings. Public Finance

Members of the Finance Group of Tucker Ellis & West conduct an extensive practice in public and municipal finance transactions, counseling state, county and municipal issuers, Wall Street and regional underwriters, investors and foreign and domestic letter of credit banks on virtually every aspect of taxable and tax-exempt bond financing. We serve as bond counsel, underwriters' counsel, borrowers' counsel or letter of credit bank counsel on a wide array of public finance transactions and have recognized expertise in the areas of housing, health care, utilities, economic development, arts and cultural institutions and sports and recreational facilities. We have also structured and closed numerous interest rate swaps, caps, collars and other derivative transactions in connection with tax-exempt bond financings. As necessary, we draw on related expertise available throughout the firm, including securities, tax, real estate, general corporate, general municipal, health care and securities compliance.
