Our Appellate & Legal Issues attorneys bring analytical and advocacy skills to resolve legal problems in a wide variety of substantive areas. We write for our trial lawyers, stepping into a wide variety of substantive disputes, often times in the life of a case, to help frame the legal issues to maximize case resolution through motion practice. When cases are tried in jurisdictions throughout the United States, we work with our trial lawyers on trial briefs and jury instruction to help ensure that an appropriate Record is created for any subsequent appeal. Our team has handled appeals in jurisdictions throughout the United States and is often retained by clients following trial to evaluate and review appellate outcomes. Our Chair is a member of the prestigious American Academy of Appellate Lawyers.
