Vice President Joe Biden Meets with TEW Client Willard & Kelsey Solar Group

Vice President Joe Biden, along with a host of other leaders and economic advisers, held a roundtable discussion and "town hall" meeting at Willard & Kelsey Solar Group LLC, in Perrysburg, Ohio on Tuesday, June 23. Willard & Kelsey's CEO Bill Mitchell outlined his company's plans to create a "solar panel manufacturing park" which will create nearly 3,500 high paying manufacturing jobs in northwest Ohio and serve as a building block for the expansion of the "advanced energy" industry throughout the state.
The Vice President's visit comes on the heels of Willard & Kelsey's recent award of an additional $10 million loan from Ohio's Air Quality Development Authority, the first "advanced energy" funding awarded under Governor Strickland's $1.57 billion job stimulus package. To date, Willard & Kelsey has received nearly $20 million in state grants, loans and other financial incentives. And that investment is paying off. Read More...
