TEW Elects Curt Isler as New Managing Partner

Cleveland, Ohio, February 25, 2008 – The law firm of Tucker Ellis & West is pleased to announce the selection of Curt Isler as its new Managing Partner. “Curt and I have been partners and practiced together for more than 30 years. We started together in Cleveland as brand new trial lawyers and have been friends and colleagues ever since,” said Bob Tucker, who has served as Managing Partner at Tucker Ellis from its founding in July of 2003. “I had the privilege of helping this great collection of lawyers and staff come together as a partnership just over four years ago. The formation and success of Tucker Ellis & West has been hugely gratifying. It’s now time for me to step aside in favor of Curt who I am confident will continue to expand our tradition of excellence, innovation and partnership,” said Tucker.
Mr. Isler began his career as a trial lawyer in Cleveland in 1975 and has been based in California since 1990. He and his wife recently purchased a home in Willoughby Hills.
Mr. Isler is a nationally recognized trial lawyer who has spent much of his career providing counsel to the United Technologies family of companies, including Pratt & Whitney, Carrier Corporation, Hamilton Sundstrand, Sikorsky, UTC Fire and Security, and Otis Elevator. He is also national trial counsel for HNI Corporation. Mr. Isler was recently recognized as one of a select group of 148 attorneys providing outstanding client services to Fortune 1000 companies.
