Carter Strang Receives Distinguished Contributions to the Community Award From OACTA

Cleveland, Ohio – (November 16, 2009) - Carter E. Strang, a partner with Tucker Ellis & West LLP, received the 2009 Distinguished Contributions to the Community Award from the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys at its annual convention in Columbus, Ohio on November 11, 2009.
Mr. Strang initiated and serves as coordinator of TEW’s unique Pipeline Diversity Program, which involves a partnership between TEW and the John Hay Early College Program of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. The partnership includes monthly visits by TEW attorneys to teach the award winning Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s 3Rs curriculum, which aids students in passing the Ohio Graduation Test and includes career counseling.
