Tucker Ellis & West Welcomes Dixon & Takla as Associates

Cleveland, Ohio – (June 8, 2009) Robert K. Dixon and Monee A. Takla have joined Tucker Ellis & West LLP as Associates in the firm’s Los Angeles office, where they will both be members of the medical & pharmaceutical liability practice group.
Mr. Dixon earned his J.D. from the University of California Gould School of Law in 2008, where he was a law scholar and received the Wiley W. Manuel Award for pro bono services. During this time, he interned with a legal aid organization and the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office. Robert attended Loyola Marymount University, where he received his B.A., graduating magna cum laude, in 2005.
Ms. Takla earned her B.A., graduating magna cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2005. She was a student attorney as Harvard Law School’s Legal Aid Bureau, where she represented clients in the areas of housing and benefits. After graduating from Harvard in 2008, she returned to Los Angeles to work in the litigation department of a large international law firm.
