Ryan Lapine Elected to California Bar Association's Committee of Bar Examiners

Cleveland, Ohio (May 5, 2009) – Ryan Lapine has been elected to one of ten attorney positions on the California Bar Association's Committee of the Bar Examiners. The committee rules on moral character applicants to the Bar, oversees and governs all non-accredited law schools in the state, oversees the drafting of the California Bar Exam, approves the final California Bar Exam, is charged with swearing new attorneys into the Bar, and oversees the grading of the California Bar Exam.

In April, Mr. Lapine was one of three committee members who voted on and approved the July 2009 California Bar Exam and he is one of only two young attorneys on the Board.

Mr. Lapine is an Associate in Los Angeles office of Tucker Ellis & West LLP, where he focuses his practice on business litigation.
