Nine Tucker Ellis Attorneys Promoted to Counsel

January 2017

Tucker Ellis LLP is pleased to announce that it has promoted nine of its attorneys to Counsel effective January 1, 2017.

Kelly Breen focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on construction defect, personal injury defense, and product liability cases. She has represented a variety of corporate clients in both federal and state court, and is experienced in all aspects of litigation. Ms. Breen received her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and her undergraduate degree cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.

Ndubisi Ezeolu represents businesses, municipalities, and public entities in trial and appellate courts and before government agencies. He has represented title insurance companies, real estate lenders, and financial institutions in lawsuits involving mortgage banking, fraudulent transfers, forgery, identity theft, and loan fraud. He also represents companies and their executives in employment law issues. Mr. Ezeolu received his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Tufts University.

Erica James defends clients in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and healthcare industries. Educated and trained as a physician, she defends physician, nurse, hospital, and dialysis center clients against claims of medical malpractice. Ms. James received her law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. She earned her medical degree and her undergraduate degree cum laude from the University of Miami, where she was Phi Beta Kappa.

Corena Larimer represents businesses in complex civil litigation. She serves on national and regulatory teams defending pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, formulates and drafts complex legal arguments in trial and appellate courts, and has secured numerous dismissals on the basis of federal preemption. She also represents national and statewide nonprofit organizations advancing the interests of healthcare providers in California’s appellate courts. Ms. Larimer received her law degree magna cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Oberlin College.

Jennifer Mesko represents businesses in complex civil litigation, with a focus on insurance coverage, commercial disputes, and class actions in a variety of areas, including consumer claims, warranty litigation, product liability litigation, and insurance. Ms. Mesko received her law degree summa cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Wheaton College.

Thomas Peppard is a corporate and transactional business attorney who represents clients in connection with the purchase and sale of their businesses, corporate restructuring and reorganization, shareholder disputes, asset-based and commercial loan transactions, debt-restructuring and modification, and the purchase, sale, and leasing of their commercial facilities. Mr. Peppard received his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Miami University.

Andrea Glinka Przybysz focuses on regulatory and post-market surveillance issues in the area of pharmaceutical manufacturer liability. She has served on several national counsel teams for three top 20 drug and device manufacturers in litigation involving sulfonamide and glitazone drugs, as well as metal-on-metal implants. Ms. Przybysz received her law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago.

Christine Snyder defends employers before administrative agencies and in state and federal courts in litigation matters, including wage and hour class actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, FMLA, wrongful discharge, and ERISA disputes. Ms. Snyder received her law degree cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. She holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Illinois, Springfield, and an undergraduate degree from West Virginia University.

James Warren counsels clients on mergers and acquisitions and securities transactions. He advises publicly traded and privately held companies in domestic and cross-border transactions in North America, Asia, and Europe. He also works with emerging and growth stage companies. Mr. Warren received his law degree magna cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He holds both an undergraduate and a Master of Engineering degree in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
