Every year on the first Friday after July 16th, the day our firm was founded, Tucker Ellis & West closes all offices for TEW Extraordinary Day. Every partner, associate and staff person in the firm spends the day working on the volunteer project of his or her choice. Over the past few years, projects have included work for the following nonprofit organizations: Habitat for Humanity, Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center, MedWish International, Lake Erie Adopt-a-Beach, The Cleveland Food Bank, Lake Erie Nature & Science Center, and Rockefeller Park. Each year, the firm contributes several thousand hours of volunteer time to the projects in all of its offices. Our annual volunteer efforts are just one of the many ways in which we give back to our communities.
