William H. Berglund

William H. Berglund is Counsel in the Cleveland office of Tucker Ellis & West LLP.  He practices in the area of professional and products liability, primarily focusing on the defense of pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in litigation nationwide. He also represents and counsels hospitals and other health care providers with respect to medical privacy issues involving federal and state law.

Prior to his legal career, Bill was a Teach for America corps member and special education teacher at a high school near New Orleans, Louisiana. While in law school, he was a member of the Order of the Coif and also an Articles Editor for the Tulane Law Review. Following law school, Bill was Law Clerk to the Honorable Carl J. Barbier, United States District Court, Eastern District of Louisiana.

Bill and his wife Ellen reside in Shaker Heights. In his spare time, Bill enjoys running, baseball, and chasing after his three sons.
