Thomas R. Cheswick

Thomas R. Cheswick  is an Associate in the San Francisco office of Tucker Ellis & West LLP.  Mr. Cheswick practices in the area of insurance coverage, representing insurers and principally focusing on the analysis and defense of claims made under professional liability policies, including policies providing coverage for D&O liability, executive and organization liability, mutual fund executive and organization liability, bankers professional liability, architect, engineers and construction managers professional liability, and financial institutions’ bond liability. 

Tom has considerable experience in the evaluation of risk in high exposure cases, and has represented insurers in connection with securities fraud class actions, shareholder derivative actions, ERISA class actions, antitrust claims, general professional liability claims, construction defect liability claims, financial institution bond claims, and similar actions brought against financial institutions, high technology companies, diversified conglomerates, construction contractors, and other Fortune 500 corporations and their management, including the mutual fund market timing and late trading litigation, options backdating, and subprime mortgage claims.
