K. Michele Anderson

K. Michele Anderson, a Partner in the Denver office, primarily practices in the area of products liability with significant experience in drug and device litigation and complex multi-district matters. She also has a wide range of experience with general product liability, personal injury, premises liability, toxic torts, liquor liability, and insurance defense.

Michele enjoys developing the company history for a specific product for presentation to courts and juries as well as identifying litigation issues to assist with budgets in managing complex cases. Michele has extensive working knowledge of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and the regulations enacted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as they pertain to product liability litigation. She also has expertise in addressing epidemiology and biostatistical data.

During Michele's almost twenty-five years of experience managing product liability and mass tort cases, she has analyzed complicated medical causation issues; addressed admissibility of expert evidence; dealt with off-label use; addressed litigation subsequent to recalls; and postured cases for trial or effective settlement negotiations. Michele's more recent experience includes an extensive engagement in the COX-2 litigation and obstetrical and gynecological injury cases with significant emotional and physical injuries.
