
Jennifer Hoover Kappus is an Associate in the Cleveland office of Tucker Ellis, where she is a member of the firm’s Trial Department. Jennifer’s practice focuses on mass tort & product liability, defending product manufacturers locally and nationally.
Ms. Kappus graduated summa cum laude with high honors in History from The College of William & Mary, where she double majored in history and government. At William & Mary, Jennifer was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and was awarded the Phi Beta Kappa 2008 Academic Achievement Award. Jennifer also spent a semester in Washington, D.C. interning at the American Bar Association’s Governmental Affairs Office and studied abroad for two terms at Cambridge University in England.
While attending Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Jennifer served as the Executive Symposium Editor of the Law Review, Vice President of the Women’s Law Association, and a Writing Center tutor. In addition to working as a summer associate at Tucker Ellis & West, Jennifer interned at the U.S. Department of State. She graduated magna cum laude and as a member of the Order of the Coif. Since law school, Jennifer has volunteered with the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s 3Rs Program.
Jennifer was born and raised in Cleveland, figure skating at Winterhurst Ice Rink. In addition to being with her family, Jennifer enjoys traveling, hiking in the Metro Parks, and attending cultural events around Cleveland.
