Jeffrey A. Healy

Jeffrey A. Healy is a Partner in the Cleveland office of Tucker Ellis & West LLP and Chair of the firm’s Trial Department. Mr. Healy focuses his practice on product liability and mass tort defense, although he has also tried maritime personal injury and legal and medical malpractice cases. He currently serves as National Trial Counsel, National Coordinating Counsel, regional counsel, and local counsel for defendant corporations in asbestos and silicosis cases. He has litigated and tried product liability and mass tort cases throughout the country. He has also litigated and tried maritime personal injury cases throughout the Great Lakes region.

Jeff grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, where he currently lives with his wife and two children. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1985, and Boston College Law School in 1992. Between Dartmouth and B.C., he spent a year as a ski bum in Sun Valley, Idaho and three years as a high school history teacher and soccer and hockey coach at a school outside of Detroit, Michigan. Besides spending his free time with his family, Jeff enjoys skiing, reading, and running.

Jeff was quoted in “Talkin' Revolution,” an article in Corporate Counsel, and “Alternative Fee Arrangements are so 2003,” featured in The National Law Journal's 2009 Midsize Hot List, both regarding alternative fee arrangements.
