
James R. Warren is an Associate in the Business Department of Tucker Ellis LLP, where his practice focuses on business transactions, securities, and business counseling.
Jim earned his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where he was voted Student of the Year by his peers. Jim also served on the Dean Search Committee and was President of the Dean Dunmore Moot Court Board.
Jim is also an electrical engineer. He earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and his M. Eng. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. Prior to his legal career, Jim worked in the defense industry outside Washington D.C. His research and development experience includes digital communications and naval sensor systems.
After growing up on the east coast, Jim now lives in Shaker Heights with his wife Jes and amazing new son. When not discovering new ways to demolish and rebuild their home, Jim enjoys exploring Northeast Ohio’s great restaurants and his burgeoning golf game.
