
Hugh Stanley is a Partner in the Cleveland office of Tucker Ellis & West LLP. He is a trial lawyer who focuses on corporate, banking, insurance, antitrust commercial litigation and professional responsibility. Mr. Stanley has been actively involved in defending a variety of Class Action Suits in Federal and State Courts. (See, e.g. Hamilton v. Ohio Savings Bank, (1998) 82 Ohio St 3d 67,694 N.E.2d 442 (Lender Liability); JNT Properties, LLC v. KeyBank National Association, Cuyahoga Cty Case No. CV 09 681873).
Mr. Stanley arbitrates/mediates a broad range of disputes. Over his career, he has tried cases throughout the State of Ohio and several other states in both Federal and State Court venues. In addition, he has argued cases before the Federal and State Courts of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Ohio.
Mr. Stanley is a member of the American, Ohio and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations. He has lectured on a variety of subjects relating to trial practice. He is a panelist for State and Federal Court Alternate Dispute Resolution and a Neutral for the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR).
