
Charles Socha is a Partner in the Denver office of Tucker Ellis & West LLP. His litigation experience consists of products liability, including medical device and drug liability, toxic torts, and complex, multi-district litigation. Chuck's practice also includes regulatory issues under the Food, Drug and Cosmetics Act. He has tried cases to verdict in Colorado, California, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Montana, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Chuck has handled cases involved in mass tort litigation in all 50 states. Many of these cases raised complex medical, scientific, and other technical issues and presented significant punitive damages exposure.
Often, Chuck has served as either national or regional counsel for national manufacturers involved in multi-district, mass tort litigation, or as the science lawyer on the defense team. In that capacity, his focus has been development of the defense's expert case and attacking the opposition's expert case.
